Senior Full-Stack Developer

• A talented full-stack engineer with a track record of success (7+ years’ experience) in designing, building, and scaling MVPs, products, and solutions;
• Strong experience in building rich web, and mobile UIs with modern client-side frameworks (React/Redux/React Native, Angular, Vue);
• Strong experience in web backend technologies, like Node.js (Node.js is hard requirement);
• Significant experience developing applications using object-oriented design in JavaScript, Java, Ruby, Go, Python, C#, or C++;
• Advanced understanding of web technologies and ideally experience with HTML5, CSS3, HAML, SCSS, JavaScript/ES6/TypeScript, jQuery;
• Experience with REST and SOAP based APIs;
• Experience with source control using Git;
• Strong Experience with GCP/AWS – specifically distributed Cloud Computing, API Gateways, microservices architecture, Serverless Computing, Load Balancing etc;
• Experience with NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis, Firestore) and SQL (Postgres, MySQL, Oracle);
• Experience working in an agile environment (Scrum, Kanban, etc.);
• Deep understanding of modern security best practices;
• Upper intermediate English.

General:

• Build, maintain and review highly scalable and secure web applications, services, and APIs with a focus on quality and maintainability

Technical Leadership:

• Accountable for the technical quality of the software that the team produces. Help implement and improve coding standards across organization while meeting deadlines and delivering targets set by the product team;
• Be a technical leader by helping other specialists make architectural design decisions while evangelizing engineering best practices;
• Mentor and coach, the team on architecture, design, development, and operations;
• Take complete ownership from conception to production release by leveraging your ability to influence, facilitate, and work collaboratively across teams;
• Take product requirements and transform them into technical tasks for him/herself and the team.
• Provide accurate development estimates in support of feasibility assessments and planned development activities;
• Identify and solve performance bottlenecks in our applications.
• Implement product features in both our mobile and web client applications and backend services alike;
• Improving existing features of the products and working on new features as we continue to scale;
• Working closely with product managers and data analysts to improve the overall product, the design team to improve the user experience, and the front-end team for design implementation;
• Create and maintain technical documentation, ensuring clarity and completeness.

Cloud Computing:

• Develop and enhance architectures including microservices and serverless architectures that support our products and clients’ projects;
• Solve challenging scaling problems to ensure a seamless user experience and high uptime.

Live Ops:

• Optimize performance and uptime of the services owned by the team by collecting metrics, monitoring production systems, debugging issues as they arise and respond with urgency especially to security/usability concerns;
• Provide technical oversight for performance testing, ensuring plan and outcomes align to expected non-functional requirements;
• Assist in cloud-based DevOps and infrastructure build outs and maintenance;
• Plan and oversee application deployment activities and sequencing in non-production and production environments.

• Understanding of technologies such as OpenID Connect (OIDC), SAML, XACML SCIM, OAuth, Federation, etc;
• Have working knowledge of network protocols used on both local and wide-area networks.
