Overview
Program-Ace built an immersive VR rehabilitation app where a virtual trainer, Andy, guides patients through hand-mobility exercises with precise motion tracking, so recovery can continue at home and progress is captured for clinicians.
The challenge
The app had to make a real difference to treatment while staying medically sound, which meant capturing even small finger and wrist movements accurately for rehabilitation data, and being usable by elderly patients with no VR experience.

Technology and approach
How we built it
Built in Unity and C# with VRTK on the Oculus Quest with VR gloves, the app tracks fine finger and wrist motion in real time and presents it through a guided virtual trainer, designed to be approachable for patients who have never used VR, and delivered on an accelerated timeline.
