Rome Slot is a high-resolution demonstration that was designed to showcase our capabilities and technical expertise in the creation of online slot machines. Current demo version demonstrates the graphical interface of the slot machine, 2D art, animation and reel mechanics. The functionality is expected to be expanded and improved in the nearest future. In particular, Program-Ace specialist will add game logic and deploy the game across multiple platforms.
The main goal of the project was to create a showcasing demo using cross-platform framework and the real slot mechanics which can be used for mobile and web development of slots.
The Program-Ace team used Cocos2d-JS framework to develop web-based application - Rome Slot. Cocos2d-JS is an open-source user-friendly game engine that allows multi-platform developing for a variety of platforms, including web, Android, iOS, Windows Phone 8, Mac, Windows, etc. For the server part of online slots, we used our proprietary PHP-based game server.
