JePilote is a SaaS platform that provides an online service for better accounting and financial reporting, faster and more efficient quoting and invoicing, financial statistics and reports, API and easy synchronization with the bank, convenient sharing of information with clients and managers, and helps enhance business processes of the company.
This project has been developed by the Program-Ace web development team from scratch: from initial business analysis to the final release. Moreover, we became JePilote’s strategic technology partner and provide support and maintenance for this project to this very day.

The main business purpose of the client was to develop the all-in-one accounting and reporting tool for the small and medium business sector. JePilote was supposed to become the number one tool in this sector in the French market and to provide an affordable and efficient solution that is affordable for companies of all sizes.

JePilote SaaS platform was supposed to deal with a lot of sensitive user information, that’s why there were serious requirements regarding information security, backups, and information encryption.

Integration
One of the main requirements of the client was an easy integration of the JePilote platform with third-party applications, including information systems of the banks, government institutions, and corporate software. It was needed for easier import/export of the information and more convenient work.
Approach and Solution
The main goal of our development team was to implement a multi-functional and secure SaaS platform that allows creating a standard quote and invoice in one minute, a faster way to prepare bills and business reports, and easy information sharing in real-time mode. The application had to become an all-in-one accounting solution for small and medium companies with easy business report sharing, document management and backups, data synchronization, and instant online access. The main features of the final product are as follows:
- Advanced Level of Security JePilote supports the latest information security standards, including 256-bit SSL encryption. The platform works on ISO certified servers and provides daily backups of user information. The application is protected from unauthorized access and DDOS attacks with several high-performance firewalls.
- Easy Accounting The users have the ability to follow the standard accounting process or use customization if they need to fit the application to their specific needs. The application provides easy electronic management of documents and check deposits, multi-segment cost accounting, inventory management, and other essential features for accountants. Also, JePilote has a regulation-monitoring feature, and its users can be always up-to-date with the latest accounting standards.
- Stats & Dashboards The application provides customizable dashboards with advanced statistics where the user has access to the information about the ledger, overall and auxiliary balance, balance sheets and income statements.
- Multi-User Access The platform offers multi-user, multi-company access to all the features and all the information. Also, role-based access granting is possible.
- Quoting & Invoicing The JePilote platform allows for customizable estimates and invoices and easy conversion from the quote to invoice. All the documents are stored in the application database and can be automatically emailed to the user or exported to PDF.
- Synchronization Automatic synchronization of the statements with the portal of the bank is possible, including automatic import of bank statements, bank reconciliations, etc.
- Email Features The platform has such email features as document export to email, alerts and to-do notifications, customer reminders, and other.
- VAT Management JePilote allows for easy preparation of VAT returns, seizure and excluding of VAT, and automatic customizable reports.
- Instant Access The platform is available both from web and mobile applications, which provides easy user access anytime from any corner of the world.
