Program-Ace built a near-photoreal 3D car configurator in Unreal Engine 5 and delivered it through pixel streaming, so showroom-grade visuals reach any browser or display without high-end hardware.

The challenge

The client wanted a car configurator that looked genuinely photoreal, with accurate reflections, dynamic lighting, and lifelike materials, not the simplified look of a typical web configurator. The hard part was delivering that fidelity to ordinary browsers and showroom screens without demanding a powerful GPU from every user.

The solution

Program-Ace built the configurator in Unreal Engine 5.5 and streamed it from the cloud, so the photoreal fidelity reaches any device.

Near-photoreal rendering with Nanite geometry and path-traced lighting and reflections.

Technology and approach

How we built it

Built in Unreal Engine 5.5, the configurator uses Nanite for dense geometry and path tracing for lighting close to offline-render quality. Instead of requiring a capable GPU from each user, it runs through pixel streaming, rendering in the cloud and streaming the result, so photoreal fidelity reaches ordinary devices.
