Overview
Xmas ARchy is a corporate augmented reality portal Program-Ace built as a New Year gift for its customers, partners, and friends, developed as a festive modification of the company's own ARchy the Rabbit AR project. The markerless AR portal lets a user step through into a fully explorable, animated holiday scene filled with visual effects, viewed simply through a mobile device camera.
The challenge
Deliver quick, responsive technical performance despite the resource demands of a markerless AR portal running on mobile devices.
Treat the project as a proof of concept for a new AR portal offering, since it was Program-Ace's first AR portal and needed to be reshaped to meet future client requirements.
